ife Care is at the heart of the Holland Christian Home's distinctly Christian mission. It is a continuum of care given for the rest of your life, including the assurance of skilled nursing care if you should need it at any time, at no added cost.
Residents pay one, flat fee when entering the Home. You must also make a monthly Social Security or pension contribution to the Home, maintain secondary medical insurance and cover your own prescription, hearing and vision expenses. However, if at any time you require it, you have immediate access to the professional nursing staff in our Mountain View Nursing Unit at no additional cost. For our residents and their families, it's a promise that means peace of mind. It also means that over the average length of stay at the Home, residents pay significantly less than at comparable, high-quality facilities.
Our residents are free to pursue their favorite activities or join their fellow resident at any of the dozens of organized events and activities each month. With 3 delicious meals served each day and housekeeping performed by our meticulous staff, all our residents enjoy life without the worries and chores associated with maintaining a home.
The Home recently completed an extensive expansion and renovation of our beautiful site, in order to accommodate the changing needs of today's seniors. All of our resident rooms have been updated. We have also improved many of the common areas, including our renovated dining room, chapel, coffee shops and Mountain View Nursing Unit, as well as a new fitness room, gazebo and outdoor activities area. From the soaring stone fireplace in our Great Room, to the courtyard bursting with colorful flowers, we strive to ensure that each of our residents enjoys a comfortable, home-like environment, with as much privacy and social activity as they desire.
